There is something that has bothered me for a while, and that is the issue that relates to the integrity of one of Careersng's purpose.

We are here to demystify most career related issues and to lay things bare as much as we can.

However, in our course of achieving this goal, i sometimes feel its an "overdo" to seek for test info and scanned test past questions.
I have sought the opinion of our lawyers, but while awaiting proper interpretation of the clauses related to this in our constitution, i got an email from a concerned alljober.......

Hmm, i just feel i should throw this open to everyone in the forum and hear all out.

We actually dont give real life test cheat sheets yet.. but can we really go that far?

I think test info, ( there are X sections with Y number of questions , read GMAT etc) does not bestow any liability of test takers on us, and our disclaimer speaks... but... i just wanna be double sure i aint assuming wrongly.

I feel dis is not really an issue for instances there are a thousand and one sites where you can get live questions to most certification exams so why are the companies doing this certifications not sueing these sites.

What shall we say about websites like net130.com ? They give testking cisco questions life on their website.
I feel there is nothing bad in we talking about how test formts are and some practice samples, but we might not scan and paste questions word for word. Afterall even testing companies like shldirect.com still gives us some of their questions for practice on their website.
ETS also does thesame thing for the GRE exam.

Mr Fowe, i beleive it is time Companies know that testing may not be the best method of testing people intelligence and brillance, they should begin to explore more efficient HR methods

i think, though am not a lawyer, that it would be illegal if we actually post real test questions of a company. the source would be questionable. i know certain organisations repeat the same questions yearly for their recruitment process.
getting these questions and posting it on the forum could cost such companies two things:
1. expo to the intending recruits, messes up the authenticity of the entire recruitment process
2. we would have costed them time and money used in organising the test.
if sued, i dont know what can happen
take the WAEC and JAMB processes for example, if you see the question before writing the exam, it is considered criminal, and 21 years imprisonment is the punishment.

More seriously, i think the closest we can legally get to revealing authentic questions is to reveal past test questions or smth.
Well.. i still need a lawyer to refer us to some subsections of the constitution.
