Fowe,the linking word "is" really has a lot of issue.That phrase was the motto of my Secondary School.Analysing the word Knowledge in Paripasu with the word Power,my equation is this:

"KNOWLEDGE < POWER = SKILL"

Let's have more insight into how "is" is formed.

"Is" means the third person singular of the present tense of "be". So, is was formed from the word 'be'.

Permit me to say then; "knowledge be power"

Knowledge is power

There is a quote by another great guy (can't remember his name & can't lay my hand on it at the moment) that disputed that quote.
He concluded by saying;
Knowledge is Potential power.

Looking at it this way, Applied knowledge = Wisdom.
Wisdom is the principal thing.
Wisdom is better than power.
Wisdom gives power.
Until you apply your knowledge, Bross you are powerless.

It is obvious there is direct proportionality between knowledge and power.
However power can be gotten without knowledge but most of the time such power leads to self destruction.

Knowledge can be power=money
You need power to get wealth (Deut 8:18)
The power in this context is not muscle but specialized knowledge, revelational knowledge(aka ideas) and a bit of general knowledge. Note am talking about applied knowledge.

Fowe, this happens to be a very interesting topic.

To me,knowledge is power can be defined mathematically as:
knowledge is proportional to power.Where K equals knowledge and P equals power.
Therefore, K is propotional to P.Which means K equals PW. Where W equals wisdom constant.

This means that K equals WP. i.e once you have Knowledge, you have power,in respect of wisedom.

My bro. watin i wan tell you be say just get the knowledge,and with the wisdom constant that is certain,you have power, and once power is secured, every other things are minor.

i think Knowledge really equates power almost in near absolute terms because the cost of ignorance is really unquantifiable
