Never heard of it before!

I dont know what you mean by "develop and deploy custom applications using optimization and Monte Carlo simulation". Maybe you should be a lil' bit clearer. From what I understand, Monte Carlo is a stochastic algorithm itself, not a software development or deployment technique.

If you are looking to optimize your codes (Java, C/C++) there are tools out there (many open source options too) that you could investigate. My choice (for java) is Borland's OptimizeIt and Borlands Profiler (ships with Borland JBuilder); for C++ I use Borland's CodeAnalyzer (ships with Borland C++ Builder), For .Net there are some tools (cant remember their names now) that ship with the Visual Studio.NET that allow you do just that.
