i just got a mail dat i have been invited for an entry selection test in abuja.....
any other invitees?
i would appreciate help on their test format, and another thing b4 i forget....i have not served any hope? wat do i read also? because i'm to come wit a pencil eraser e.t.c. thanks really appreciate wat u all have been doing....

Hi Guys,

First, one of the conditions for you to appear for the test is the NYSC certificate, so I don't know if they will waive that anyway. But no crime in appearing there since you were invited. Then I think they are only conducting test for those living within abuja and its environs.

This is how the GTB test looks like. I got it from some of the stuffs pasted by fellow forumites:

GTB test is handled by Kimberly Ryan, a consulting firm. the test is called Graduate Reasoning Test, it's in 3 sections and it's a speed test. The first section which is Verbal Reasoning contains 30 questions which must completed in just 8 minutes. the other two sections are Numerical and Abstract Reasoning which contain 25 questions each and the time frame for each is 10 minutes. In all, you have 80questions in 28 minutes. It's neither GRE nor GMAT, infact the questions are straight forward and simple but the time frame is very short, though u can still manage your time. i did it and finished. the numerical contains questions on series and sequence and some probability, the verbal contains questions on comparison like "DRIVE IS TO CAR as FLY is to AEROPLANE" and say some synonyms and antonyms, not difficult ones anyway. the abstract has to do with shapes. the pass maark is 50% though im not sure if each question carries equal mark. i wish those writing the test GOOD LUCK.

The third part is interpretation of Diagrams 10 mins. Comprises of 25 questions

The pass mark is 50. Try to be fast. Read your GMAT very well.

i've not been online 4 awhile...
its like it is only in abuja the test would hold, they specified dat its 4 those living in abj and evirons. i think i'm in the same shoes as you, i wish there was a place i could write it in lagos as per i'm in lagos at the moment.
