I have noticed that searching Google is more of an art than a particular type of knowledge.
So i believe it would benefit up coming internet users and ourselves if we drop some tips and tricks that we use to get the most relevant results from Google.

if i am looking for a knowledge about lets say: acid.
the following are my search terms;

acid + wiki
acid how to
acid + "how to"
acid + tutorial
acid + lectures + ppt
acid + lectures + pdf

you seeeeeee

you would get some nice results with that i would appreciate contributions and questions from all.

Yes ooo, i was just thinking that this stuff is an art rather than a skill.

Another very kool search tool that very few people knows about is;
Google Email Alert

the tools is sooo useful i ve been using it for about 3yrs now, someone mentioned it on LinkedIn and i discovered many people dont even know about it.
Google Email Alert gives you real-time email update about the web/news/blog info of your favorite search key-words.
The good part is that you change this key-words based on your interest per-time.
recently i just added the keyword; "world cup 2010" (worldcup fever don dey catch me)
so any news info related to that on the web would be sent directly to my mailbox.
so Google search the web for you while you sleep!
