JEHOVAH EL-EFIZZI?

I sat in the bus today and listened to a comedian make some hilarious remarks about the several possible names God's children can address him with. The man did mention Jehovah shekinu, El shaddai ....and then he mentioned …..Jehovah el-fizzi: The God of Effects!!!!

Instead of sneering at a perceived jobless idiot I began pondering on God's new name, or maybe a seeming addition to the scriptures. It suddenly occurred to me that truly God is a person of effects, beauty, might and 'wanton' display of glory, praise and attention. Have you imagined that everything you see speaks about God? Its been proven over again that even self professed atheists still reveal a need and hunger for a being more supreme and superior to them ; most of them just do not subscribe or accent to traditional means including church, mosque etc

Furthermore, the indwelling of God in human vessels actually creates 'effects'. Specifically, God dwelling in the hearts of men should bring changes, real changes. Some local to the host, some local to their physical environment and some international. Yes, there are irresponsible people who profess God; but that is not the subject of this discourse. Yet it does not reverse the evidences of lives of men and women who brought real changes to their world because they have understood clearly the effective or efficacious touch of the Lord.

I encourage us to seek wisdom. Know about God and Know God for yourself. There must be more than just going to church and bearing Christian as a fourth name! I like to also understand him as my Jehovah El-fizzi--God of effects and real changes. My other write ups like 'is your egusi tasteless? How big is your ship? Etc will interest you.

After all, the Jehovah ... this Jehovah ... that, in the scriptures came from personal encounter with God.
