please I need help on how to encrypt image or pic and save them on the database--access or mysql..

Firstly, let me say that I don't consider myself a database guru (even though I am a double certified MCDBA on MS SQL Server 7 and 2000). However, I think I can say it is usually a bad idea to be storing images directly in a DB (as BLOBs).

What is the use case you are dealing with here? Is there any strong reason why the images can not be on the file system with only their location (path) persisted in the RDBMS?
