It appears as if Nigerian employment market is experiencing a burst we did not prepare for both as govt, individual and private companies. Can we do a paradigm shift solution to this calamity immediately?

Why is a government agency cashing in on the problem the same government is unable to solve? Is this Governmental Entrepreneurship or Shameless Exploitation?

Asking 60,000 (in Lagos alone) to pay N1,500 means they have made enough income to pay the 2,000 that will be selected N45,000 each - which is probably much more than their starting salaries!

How much longer can we continue like this? Stampede at an earlier test by their sister agency (Nigerian Customs Service) led to the death of 11 people, tear gas was used at another test by a bank for crowd control (whose picture went viral).

If you can't fix the rot, ask your agencies to stay away from the exploitation of these young minds. And now back to us citizens, I bet thousands of test-takers actually have skills that they can exploit to earn some form of income. Maybe it's time for us to start leaving school with small business plans that can be executed immediately and not CVs!

FACT: By the day we are turning out more graduates obviously with the increased need for NYSC batches that seem not to close camps anymore since one batch is almost meeting the other at the door!

These will increase the already incurable pressure in the employment baloon. Whic from the signs indicated in the comments above is actually experiencing a burst! What can we do because we have a potential to become China and Japan but we are gradually becoming babylon! HELP we need help!

Am despirate for solution! We all need it.
