Just wana start this thread, i think it would be useful for some guys.
Your Disposition
Your attitude speaks a lot in a visa interview. And its very difficult to act it. bbecause u are obviously human wit emotions.
So i think ur preparation starts min of a week to the interview, and u need to achieve a good disposition by first agreeing wit urself that u dont mind being denied the VISA. If ur mind can be in a status that u no send dem whatever! Then u wld be bolder and more expressive. And u wld be able to prove show the things that are important to you in your country.
If u going for a student VISA.... Your main challenge is to convince them u coming back to naija. And you ve to proof this both verbally and wit paper.
Employment/study leave letter is very important.
......to be continued...

Bross i am not supporting brain drain oo, i am supporting brain growth!
If some Nigerians want to enlarge their capacity/horizon by traveling out, why not! Let them do it. The most important thing is to always have the interest of ur country at heart and i don't think staying in Nigeria for ever is an evidence for this

True that not all that glitters is not Gold, regarding travelling overseas that statement applies especially to those who want to go overseas to "hussle".
Most definately if you are going overseas to study, its a good idea. But before you do that, just sort out your funding (or at least a major part of it) cos its much more harder if you are schooling and working.
It might be sensible to support temporary brain drain for permanent brain gain. But as fowe said, you must perpertually have your country's interest and values at heart. Dont forget where you came from.
Once again, goodluck.
(em . . . , please remember to send me some Western Union sha wen u reach yankee)
But for how long do we go there to study?
Apart from having the country at heart, how many of us who go there actually come back to develop and get fully involved in the education sector?
If not,the Cycle will never end.
If they come here for business, they can also come here for studies if we match our words with action.
However, the conutry must be ready for people like this.
I ask myself if Phillip Emeagwali can survive in this terrain of ours for A Year?
What do u think?

Emeguali is just one out of thousands of capable Nigerains in diaspora. So he might not come here for his own personal reasons, but the fact that he acknowledges that he his a Nigerian alone, improves Nigeria's international brand, and its +ve contribution.
I think traveling is part of life, even some Americans get excited when they ve opportunity to travel to other countries...
I guess oga Bill gates really really wanted to come to naija thats why he had to proof he has the finance to do so So thats the way it goes. I ve met Americans that stay permanently in Nigeria with their children and they are excited about it!
So for me, making +ve contribution to your country is not location dependent, especially in this global information age.
I dey feel you guysss

haaaa, no be ojoro matter...
Its a team work, everybody cannot play number number 9 in a football team, someone just has to be the goal keeper why some play the defense and the midfield.. thats the way life goes...and its also applicable in nation building. hope say i don escape your net

Meanwhile, I hope we are making it possible for Bill Gates to come to Nigeria, pls lets do all we can on d sides and on all fronts It means at least a lil more capital drain into d economy.
Nija economic analysist may say funny stuff and our culture may dictate some funnies but we have to be clearheaded to make advancement or progress at all.
Take a look at Capitalists which Bill Gates also is, they go all out to achieve success. We need to inbibe that as Nija pple to succed and catch up with the present development around the world.
Please, I really mean this, since am in europe and see the despirate moves they make to get advancements which we are only daydreaming about out in Nija and doing the commentator job on!
I just hope we all are gettiing the things am saying.

Hello, On ur comments, I will advice that you read with open eyes and mind! When a black man makes advancement, how easy do you think it is for the white folk to accept him in into the fold? How many want to accept that a black man is more intellligent or has broken scientific record?
These are not to be quoted anyway. Just for your knowlege sake. No too much comments. Just know that science advancements can be oppressed too.
For wikipedia to accept some level of acersions on him, dont you think there is more to it than meets the eyes? Look at his site emeagwali.com or is it .org? Get closer look.
Look at the man who was trying to say he had a formular that showed that everything erupted in God using the big bang stuff, a nigerian, where do you hear his name today? It is easier to accept Darwinism or Evolution, which has NO EVIDENCE or PROOF, but is an hypothesis and teach it today to students in school than to take a fair look at this man's work. Or the person who said he had a cure to aids, did any of these get proper recognition or fair judgement of their acersions?
Look beyond the surface, Bro.
