My opinion (short take):
PDP - Yar'adua: Well, firstly, I am disappointed in the party. Past 8 years in majority and not enough reasons to keep them in power for Nigerians. They had an opportunity to garner votes in the chance of Donald Duke, unfortunately they couldn't resist showing us how Myopic their vision really is. Asking a good man like that to step down for (a) A reason as dumb (to me) as 'Zoning'. (b) A man that was relatively UNKNOWN before now and etc.. how do they expect to.... oh! sorry. We know how.
ANPP - Buhari: The man looks and sounds passionate enough to bring a change. I saw his interview on Channels. He didn't convince me to part with my vote (my ONLY vote) to him.
DPP - Bafarawa: excuse me..who's he?
ADC - Utomi: Why did he have to pick a party with the same acronym as the ailing airline? just kidding. Anyway, I believe he has vision. i really do. i can't lay a finger on him. He's got a good track record and a string of successes that all can see. He's an intellectual (something this nation needs for image's sake) and someone with a voice and just enough passion to let that voice be heard. I believe with him policies will be well thought out and executed with a deep sense of vision AND patriotism. Hey! I'd vote him but i'm afraid his influence might only be as good as his TV talk show...Y'know...all good talk, but where's the action? Sorry, anyone.
FDP - Okotie: now this man I saw I watched on STV. All I can say and should say is wow! He made me real proud to be a Nigerian. i watched as he spoke passionately about the issues (the real issues) plaguing Nigeria and he offered the solutions. Now, notice he 'offered' solutions. I (nor he) is saying those are THE solutions, but I was glad to see a man who is not afraid to let his love for the people show (nor wane). He displayed a fighting spirit like none I have seen. I mean, his past was put on query but he had ready answers (answers that stopped the questions, really). that's what we need: Someone who can stop the questions about whether or not Nigeria will ever stand again, whether we are & can still remain a nation despite our differences, whether the inherent potentials of the citizenry will ever be actualised? Need I say more?..... by the way, I no dey go im church.
AC - Atiku: Please!! Abeg!! I begggg!! Stop this rough play!! I go wound person o!!
But sha, na my opinion o! No be your own. No vex if you no gree.
