Hello would be forumites,
I lay low on my rest bed as i thought of worthwhile
ventures to engage myself in, most importantly things that
my own hands can do.....that's was the journey into
Vocational Creativity.

I have lots of cousins, nieces and nephews
who want to go to the University but without
a definite thing to study. i go through the stress
of trying to know:
- What course they want to study
- Why they want that particular course
- How they plan to go about it
Some where able to tell me this in clear terms, but some
just wanted to follow the bandwagon.

So i propose a means in other to get them to study their Passion.
I asked:
- What handiwork do you seems to appreciate the most
- Assuming their is no Education, what would you have done
(Mechanic, Tailoring, Carpentery, Electrician, etc)
- What makes you fulfilled when you do it(them)
- Who do you admire in our society - mention their names
- Who do you admire in the World
- What makes you to like them

These and many more i asked to know where their passion lies.
As i have come to believe that Education is only mearnt to 'sharpen'
your in-born skill - Your Passion. If a man has a skill for Cooking,
he/she only need to study Cateering where he would be taught
the modern ways, techniques and some other management skills
that are required in making a world-class Cook.

I am a die-hard believer in people pursuing their PASSION,
their Vocation and their domestic skills. I had no such opportunity,
I study 'A', but am working with 'B' - My Passion.

If a man studies his/her domestic skills, passions; in the
university or any higher institutions of learning, that man will
soar like eagles. You would hardly see such a man
dump his Passion for something unrelated rather those who study
something different from their Passion find their way back to
what they really love to do - their Passion.

This forum is an Idea, in its nursery stage,
if you believe in your skill and Passion,
your contribution would be required.

As of greater importance; no topic brought up
under this forum would be disrupted unnecessarily
until it is totally agreed that the end of it has come.

Fellows; lets search and look deep within ourselves,
their lies within You a great Skill waiting to be uncovered.
Think, meditate and you will sure find it......

To all who would love to participate,

Vocational creativity will try to explores and enlighten all
on how basic tricks, strategies should be applied to
whatever field you find yourselves.

What to do.........

Forumites, Make a listing of your Passions, domestic Skills, Vocations and submit them for discussion and exploration.

e.g Carpentry, handcraft
Then we would look at how to make this a world class profession.

We have a great cloud of witness who pursued their Passion
Bill Gate, McDonald, Thomas Edison, Larry Esamoje, Tony Momoh, etc

Wouldn't you rather learn from them?

Remember " Wealth is created where the needs of the world meet your PASSION"

Chess as a game is Analytical, Strategic.

If you look inward, you will
find that Chess or the act
originates from placing one
at an advantage position against
others, strategizing, defending, ect ..........
what does that tell you domestically?

Jiggo, is meditating or surfing (i guess Internet or
do you mean water sport?) a domestic skill?
Can you naturally use it or modify it to fetch some
cash and create wealth?

now!!! u guys are really hitting me hard with these word
well to wale...sure dos tins fetch som small cash & conections...
But na ao to dey charge b my problem...sametin happened for my NYSC days too o with my PC (just like wale)...hmm, for sch sef somtimes as d Governor of d dept. i go do tins free for dem...i find pleasure in contributing to lives (i tink dts the meclancholic part of me)...it brings me great joy..av been into more of humanitarian/volunteer service in my life...i rememba a time i went to Ibadan to a man who had a cyber cafe wey don go bankrupt...i talked and encorage the man, he told he cant pay me...i told him not to worry, and tins went beta wen i got into it
I even get secretary wey he dey pay but me...nahnah...but i found pleasure in it seriosly...
na ao to start my coy i dey tink? u go nid to dey biz minded & get som core values inculcated, u know?
