In the CCNA exam, are you permitted to use the commands short form,
For example,

config t - Configure terminal

sh run - show running-config

copy run start - copy running-config startup-config

etc

Yes, you can.
Sometimes you may have to be sure your
abbreviation is not ambiguous; e.g

if you type con at the prompt
you will get %Ambiguous cos there are
other commands with the generic con

Router#con t
%Ambiguous error.

Yea dats true, but for exam purposes, i would advice you know the full spelling. Because sometimes you might be asked to enter some commands in a text box as your answer.

Yea, just try to know them, but dont spend too much time on trying to cram commands. Because the real simulation(that attracts the biggest mark) is like a life router, and you can use short commands.

I guess its CCNA you guys wana do right? we are all here to help each other could you tell us when you plan taking the exam?
