Can I hear something more comforting? Where re the hardware guys in the house? If u got your life documents and certificates on the hard drive. Wht will u do? Or let's look at it this way. Bill gate has just place $10 million on the stuff, for anyone that could get the lost datas out of the drive. What will u do? Hw will resolve the prblem & put a smile on the face of ur entire family this x-mas?

Redhat/Win98 -

Well I think that wont work cos the System does not even see the drive @ Bios level, how then can the OS see what the machine itself doesn't ?

See, the levels be say if the data dey important, u get to back am up, like 3 times. Thats your only gurantee if you dont want to find yourself in this kinda situation.

But as Gb said, moni can, and will change a lot of tins.
