The aim of this thread is to convince any doubters that Linux has great UI. Such a thread became necessary in the first place bcos there were (and still are) many who doubted the availability of good UI's on linux. Not many would initiate a parallel argument for MS Windows.

What you have posted is mainly WallPaper Graphics; Anyone can go into Photoshop and create even better stuff for any OS for that matter. Please!!!

Well, for me, linux vs windows shld be a good argument.
But not in the GUI world, its not easy for me to support my favorite linux in this area

well i am both a linux and windows fan.ok say win fan and linux mmm! wanabe guru.though linux is kool.well i think windows just have the perfect or better still mature GUI.linux is ok in the den=bian brand like ubuntu.ubuntu seems to be the one with the most mature of all linux flavor i have used.by the way guys one more favour i need a full ubuntu oS.i sont mean the free version but the main one.common if u do have i could give details for u to post it too me.i use mandrake and am dying like hell.i cant even listen to music cos it cant detect or doesn't have the driver for it.ubuntu sis best but its the free version
