Hi, all...
I have been trying to point apache server to my local website that I created but all I get is "you dont have permmission to ..."( I put the files in /var/www/html/ and pointed my browser to http://localhost/), . I changed the owner permission of the folder, I also tried some configuration on the welcome config file (changed '-Index' to '+Index'), I read through a book and followed closely, I tried google, still I get the-same thing...................... Please I need help on this cos I need to check the site ASAP!


OS is fedora 13 and apache version is 2.2.

Wow, my site is now perfectly up and running on my local host, thanks to ur 'chcon' code, I was able to change the file type to the appropriate apache files,restarted httpd and boom my site popped up right in front of me...........



Thanks man, u saved me a lot of trouble ( I spent hours trying to solve this)... Thanks
