I have a card which is not been detected by kudzu on linux and when i plug the network cable to it it beeps red light and yet no connection.
Please can anyone tells me what to do.

What kind of card do you have and what linux distro/version are u on? This could help us give better suggestions.

The chips of the card is made by the Realtek and the distro of my linux is Fedora core 5

Masterly! I couldnt have said it better.

Yemaren, Fedora 5 is "RedHat 14.0" (i.e five releases after Redhat 9.0). As early as RedHat8.0 (i.e 6 releases before Fedora 5), Realtek cards are plug and play, so I concur fully with fowe's suggestions.
