I think you should start this kind of topic in a new thread so that people could benefit from it

Well to me i think gsm engineering is all about replacing removable part if bad and probably using software sometimes to revive some phones.
I may be wrong cos i did training sometimes ago
So if you really want to go deep i think you should look at programming so that you will be able to write flashing codes.If you are thinking of hardware

you should look at going into electronics
