Thank you all for being concern about my plight. Uv all captioned my mind even without divulging it to you guys. You all are GREAT!!!!
GB: What you advised is what I have been trying to do for the last 3yrs. perhaps I'm taking too much time to get that done. It is the reason I went to do MBA. Though i wanted MBA Mgt/ Tech Mgt, but i have to take finance cos the those are not offered in the school. so i thought finance to be the alternative for me. I enjot it and believe it can leverage my marketability in either the Finance or IT industry and in the least get me started on my own.
however my problem now seems i dont know ho wto take advantage of the leverage and this is my DILEMMA. i dont want to stay too much in a rut of underemployment. i am looking forward to do better thing and get better value for my investment in the MBA programme.
fowe: thanks a lot , you drew GB mbaxploit into all this and i'm glad for it.
yes I'V also be thinking about oracle OCA/OCP, however i prefer to do something on Business support or Implememntation? so please have more light thrown into what aspect of oracle i can best fit.
mbaxploit: thank you and i really appreciate your contribution. please don't leave me alone until i'm happy.

Mr Tijaniiiiii U are a very intersting person...
Yea u could build up a career on IT Administration. Its a very good one.
If u do oracle it would give u a good technical background to leverage on, and wen negotiating IT bussiness, and when implementing projects. And also no knowledge is lost....u might still ve to work as a technical person first b4 u can finally cut over to business aspect of IT.
I would also encourage u to consider project Managment as a line. Its very related too.
Also find out about Project Managment Certification, ITTIL, SAP, and CISA.
I think your interest should be in line one of tthose directions..
Whats the name and location of your work place??

Many thanks fowe. for now I'm crossed between CISA and Oracle.
Some folks advised i should do MCP first, to facilitate my job change into IT support of IT executive since either CISA or Oracle would require hand on experience.
Albeit i'm indifferent about any, but my worry now is about which will give me the required leverage.
Please advise as i already joined the certification forum.

CISA is xpensive, Oracle is cheaper...so i tink u shld start wit Oracle.
U dont ve to know microsoft to be an Oracle person. I would rather advice u learn Unix/Linux and run ur Oracle on it. This gives u more chances in the industry than MCP. Instead of MCP, its better u do Sun SOlaris Sysadmin Cert.
If u become an OCP and a Unix person. To start with, u might still have to do some technical job, but since u know where u are going, within a short time, u wld migrate to ur finance and admin...by then u wld have money to do CISA or even ACCA etc...
I wish you the best!
