i am a new member who just joined this group today.
i am a graduate of Economics (Education) from Ondo State University Akungba(OSUA). Having finished my NYSC i'm still yet to get a job.
Presently i reside in Lagos, trying to find a job.

Hi Funmi,
First, I would advise that you sit and draw a plan for yourself. You need to determine the kind of job you are looking for. Else, you will just be applying for all kinds of vacancies advert you see in the papers or on this website.

Then prepare you resume in line with this. It is after this that you can begin to submit your application.

When you say I need a job,people see sombebody who can not help himself and they ask the question "how can he help my business?"

What Value are you bringing to the commercial world?What gift do you have?Its a pity most of us went to a wrong school but you can do something about it.

If you have a gift,no matter what it is,make that gift stand out until men will admire it.Then someone will want to pay for it.

You are a brilliant young graduate .You can start by helping the younger ones by teaching them mathematics and english.

The point is start doing something!Then very soon opportunity will find you.

That was rather harsh....but blunt truth...i dont believe he went to the wrong schl..(not cos. am an alumnus), its all bout oneself...Am a graduate of computer Science, finished serving....not awaiting job...whoever is favored amongst them will find me & get me..Av actually turned down some offers cos. i look into the future of such b4 i hit it.
At present , am self employed...into cosulting and marketing GMAT + RESUME. So far, i was able to get the company good grounds @ the just concluded Orientation programme at NYSC, Kubwa Camp, FCT.
Guys, there are so many hidden skils we have...that needs harnessing...
Some people are actually looking for jobs (going about with their CVs), but forgetting that there are some folks awaiting them to employ them...
Pls.in as much as i do not go against job seeking, lets also know that we arent beggars...no b small thing to go thru. University abeg.
I for one would love a Telecomms job (for experience), but somtin as to be on if it dosent com on time. Av bin able to get myself my September salary...
Guys, God has endowed us a lot...look inwards, activate the stuffs and die empty...
