I was on my way to a friend’s office in Opebi and was held up in traffic for close to 30 mins. Nobody could give me a clue as to what was causing the hold-up. What I saw at the Opebi junction afterwards really set me thinking.

Unknown to me, one of the new generation banks was meant to organise her recruitment test that day. The test was meant to be in batches but you would see thousands of candidates waiting eagerly to write the test. They seems to be more than people waiting to check Jamb result. I think is time for us to start creating jobs (self employed). If we keep hoping dat gvment will resolve d issues. Uhm... mo sorry oo.

The picture is terrible, it kept me thinking since then; For we that has jobs already, its not enough for us to tank God that we have a good job in our own case and rather not bother about whats happening outside. Lets think and act a way out of this problem. A friend was analysing that the people who has the skills and capabilities to creat jobs, are the ones sitting down in big companies and occupying the space. If that is the problem, then lets man a GO AND START ON YOUR OWN CAMPAIGN!
If you know if ve got what it takes to startup on your own and you seriously considering it, then getout of employee life and go start!! Dont keep procrastinating it. If 50 nigerians could take this decision every month, within the next 5yrs we would have overcome this problem.
There are alot of ideas that can work in Nigeria, we only need to follow our mind and be bold to do bussiness and it would work. If its working for the company you are working right here in Nigeria, why cant it work for you too?
Pls do something to reduce unemployment rate in Nigeria today!

Well,
As long as I agree that we need to have many more entrepreneurs, I would not support just steping out to start a business just to solve your unemployment problem. I would rather say that we all should start to look around us and it would not be long before we discover the problem we are created to solve. So, let's do everything to match our talks with actions.
