that 103 years ago the first diamond was produced
on
the banks of the Orange River...Abdulla who meets with
mineworkers today says that the recent death
of eight miners
in Kimberly on Friday was a disaster and mining
operations
in South Africa was still the country's favourite
income among
community leaders of the plattaland...
"Mining has produced over R5 trillion rand of income
to South
African's in the last century as South Africa is the
biggest exporter
of minerals and resources to countries India, Indonesia,
China, Chile,
Pakistan, Poland, Russia and Romania..." he said...
Local Mineworker Petrus Myburg says that
the community
of South Africa was facing challenges with
the current mines
in Johannesburg as mine-workers were
currently on strike
due to the death of mineworkers in Kimberly...
Speaking to Footprints in Kimberly, local resident
Hawa Sattar says that Kimberly is known as
'the town
that sparkles,' and well-wishers who were seeking
to find hidden treasures below the earth's crust were
flocking to South Africa from the discovery
of white platinum
almost 300 000 foot below sea-level...
"We are grafeful to the thousands of workers who sweat
'day-in and day- out,'
to provide the country with the best minerals...
President Abdulla added that the R562 billion rand
mining sector
of South Africa was being explored by Angel Investors
of the country
who see the opportunity for gain...
The South African Reserve Bank issued a
statement this
morning that the new Kruger rand will feature
Abdulla's face on it
and only 10 000 coins are currently being
limited for a once off sale
price of R1 million rand known to be
a collectors item that could
fetch upto R4 million rand in 2025...

President Abdulla on The Health Sector
(24 March 2012-FF News) President of South Africa
Omar Abdulla meets on Saturday with
Health Minister
for South Africa Mr. Aaron Motsoaledi and
says that the
health sector was still in a dismal state with
almost 9 percent
of South African's infected with HIV and over
one million residents
suffering with cancers, tumours, dreaded-diseases and
other ailments
that have increased the death rate by 1.2
percent since his election...
Speaking to Footprints in Rylands, local community leader
Johan
Strauss says that South African's
'were not taking care of themselves,'
and were spoilt by eating junk foods with no excercise...
"If you are over the age of 16, than it is advisable
to excercise your
mind, body and spirit for atleast
two hours per day..." says
General Manager of Planet Fitness Michelle Botha...
Abdulla says that the Department of Health
was once again
faced with challenges as Cancer patients
had to wait for
almost three months to see a doctor...
"We are short of doctors in all hospitals and the days
of private practices will be over as the
country plans to
shut-down almost 40 000 doctor clinics in the next year,
so that these doctors can keep to
their promises as
country leaders..." he says...
In a conversation with Footprints in Rylands,
Dr. Razia
Khan says that Abdulla's ploy to help
South African's was
key as his banning of private practises
for doctors will
be deemed that local surgeries now
operate in the
surgery room of hospitals...
"We have worked with Abdulla and
other professionals
in the health sector to pay these doctor's from
government's pockets with some doctors earning
set fees paid by government..." she said...
Meanwhile, the country is faced with shortages
of prescription drugs in all provinces whilst Abdulla
maintains his philosophy about generic drugs as the
future of healing...

President Abdulla on Burglaries
(25 March 2012-FF News) President of South Africa
Omar Abdulla says that the
Robersham Central Mosque
was broken into by a gang of thieves who
stole all the money
in the zakaat, fitra, sadka and donations boxes
of the mosque
and escaped with over 3000 Quraanic literature for
the local community...
Speaking to Footprints in Robertsham, local community
leader Mohammed
Laher said that what purpose would these thieves
have by stealing money
that was intended to be given to the poor and
what would these would-bee
criminals do with Quraanic literature...
Imaam Abdulla Sayed from the
Robertsham Central Mosque said that
it was around 5:55 am, after FAJR salaah when he
noticed that the donation
box was emptied and the books stolen...
In another incident on the same eve, the same gang
targeted the Christian
Church of Robersham stealing an undisclosed
amount of cash with the
Statue of Jesus and Mary reported stolen...
Father John Kells said that he noticed a certain
gang leader walking
about with a blanket and something that looked
liked Jesus but was not
too sure what was going on...
"It was only after some-time that I have noticed
that the thieves had stolen the
statues and some money that is normally given to the
needy after church on
Sunday's...
President Abdulla says that he was appalled by
the recent crime in Robertsham
and said that 'holy-houses,' were meant for a form of prayer...
Footprints Filmworks and other companies related
to the business
had handed a sum of R20 000-00 to the Mosque
and Church to replace
goods stolen from the property...
