ACCIDENT...

(10 April 2012-FF News) President of South Africa
Omar Abdulla had travelled to his hometown
Laudium,
when suddenly the truck infront of him had
collided with a
mini bus taxi...
"I was travelling on the Quagga road,
and suddenly my limousine
had halted and the chauffeur had banged his head on the steering wheel..."
he said...
Local community leader Aabidah Sheik said that she
was travelling behind the
president and noticed that the mini-bus taxi had
bumped into the truck
leaving all the goods scattered for the public to enjoy...
According to spokersperson for Bakerstransport
Mr. Hamid
Shar, he says that "it was the taxi's fault, as his
driver is in
the business for the l a s t twenty years and
he was always sober
whilst travelling on SA roads..."
Although the president is said to be in a mild state
of shock the work for the country must go on...
In an interview on SABC, Abdulla said that
his chauffeur had to be rushed to the hospital,
whilst his security guard remained un-harmed...
"There are more deaths on South African roads,

President Abdulla speaks

about LOVE...

(10 April 2012-FF News) President of South Africa
Omar Abdulla says that love is the greatest
emotion to
man and spoke at the community hall in Lenasia
this aftenoon...
Abdulla says that one has to first love ones father,
ones mother
and oneself in order to love another...
"I cannot say more about the emotion and words of love,
yet I feel that in order for us
to extend our hearts to
our girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands,
and wives is love
your parents first..."
Speaking to Footprints in Lenasia, local community
leader
Farouk Sattar says that Abdulla had
spoken well to the
community of Lenasia and added
that one has to
cry a river before one even extends
ones hand
or heart to another...
"In today's times, love has become
the foundation
of every marriage and marriage is the foundation
of life..." he says...
Local housewife Shamima Ebrahim
says that
modern ways of love have changed since she
got married forty years ago...
"In those days, love was old-fashioned
and we
worked on our dreams and desires together,
and till today, my husband loves me the
way he loved me when we got married..." she says...
Abdulla says that love has become
new-fashioned
because teenagers and the youth of South Africa
disrespect their parents...
"The greatest emotion is love for ones parents,
and parents are the foundation of evolution..."
he added...
Another Lenasia resident told Footprints in Lenasia,
that his son, disrespects him and although his
son and his wife live with them,
it takes the
toll on the entire family...
"Modern housewives gossip about
their in laws and most of the time,
it's bad talk..." he says...
Abdulla concluded his speech
by saying that he will always choose
his parents before his wife and children
because they spent their entire life savings on
him, and it's his turn to return the deal...
Perhaps love is the greatest emotion,
Perhaps love is the greatest trend,
Perhaps love is the greatest brand
but Perhaps love is the fountain of change...

the Soweto Council...

(14 April 2012-FF News) President of South Africa
Omar Abdulla is to address the Soweto community
this afternoon after receiving complaints from ward
councillor Sepho Masimang...According to Masimang
the council is taking too long to repair potholes and other
water pipes that burst during the Easter period...
"The roads of Soweto flow of sewage and council
is working too slow for residents..."
said local community
leader Charles Benson...
This comes after government had passed
a bill of R542 million rand
to repair local rural areas including Pelindaba,
Mamelodi and Diepsloot...
"It stinks so much and my family and I have
decided to move to
a new location because the council is
always repairing and nothing
is ever done to help the residents of our community..."
says
Shiela Nkosi a Soweto resident...
Speaking to Footprints in Soweto, local resident
Maria Sithole added that the council meeting
last Saturday was a disaster as only 56 residents
attended as the meeting was widely advertised...
"It seems that the community complains, but they
don't attend key meetings regarding council matters..."
she said...
If you were to take a drive in the Soweto community
there are acres of road blocks and the recent pipe
burst has left residents holding their noses when
leaving their homes...
President Abdulla who speaks to the Soweto
community today will talk about the construction
repairs in Soweto, and what and when will
government intervene to clean up this process
of maintenance in the community...

President Abdulla on Madiba's Death...

(16 April 2012-FF News) President of South Africa
Omar Abdulla says that the sudden death of former
President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela shocked
not only South African's but the global community
as a whole...
"He woke up at 9:am, and was reading the local newspaper,
when suddenly he well off his chair and died..."
said the

says that Madiba had confided in
him earlier that evening saying that he felt pain in his

Meanwhile, thousands of residents from surrounding
areas flocked to his home to bless the father of
South Africa...President Abdulla who spoke at
the Houghton residence said that the country
will miss a father and grandfather of the beloved
nation especially during times when the country
needed him most...Although Madiba is well-liked
in South Africa, he is a global icon matching the standards
of Mahatma Gandhi, Barack Obama,
George Washington,
Winston Churchill and some say his name was as
big as Michael Jackson in certain instances...
Mandela is said to have died this morning after
enjoying a mielie-mielie breakfast...
"The feeling is so much of hurt and pain, and
I miss him already..." said one resident...
Another resident in tears said that when the
doctor arrived on the scene, she started crying
and although the country will miss the father
of Africa, many residents are preparing for
his burial in on Friday...
