Personally I was excited about this idea. fut16coin like building squads and this sounded like a breath of fresh air. However, it ultimately looks designed to be another big coinsink/money generator for EA. It costs 15,000 coins or 300 FIFA Points to enter but FUT Draft tokens can also be found in FUT 16 packs, in the same way you might find a token to redeem 1,000 coins or a free Gold Pack. But don’t worry, even if you enter FUT Draft and lose your first game, you’ll always get back at least what you put in. It may not be in the form of 15,000 coins but it will be a prize of equivalent value. First off, 15k to enter is simply too high based on the amount of coins earned per match currently. It will limit the pool of entrants a lot. 5k and a cheaper reward after losing would've made a lot more sense. Secondly I have serious doubts that your reward for losing in the first round will be anything close to equivalent value. It will probably be a standard 7.5k gold pack. The fact that tickets to enter the FUT Draft are found in packs and the entry is so high (15k) means that this has pretty much been designed as a way for EA to get people to sink more money into FUT/packs and not a genuine attempt at making a fun new game mode that's easily accessible. The wager games in Call of Duty had multiple stake levels including very very low so everyone could participate your fifa coins. You could even play them without wagering anything in custom online lobbies with friends. I don't see EA doing anything like this with FUT draft. In short I was interested in this game mode but after reading up on it, I can't help but feel cynical about it.
