Women's Interest Division (Your Baby, Baba & Kleuter and Your Pregnancy) is looking for a young and dynamic marketing assistant to work over the three magazine and its website YourParenting.co.za. The position is based in our Sandton office and will report to the marketing manager.
The ideal candidate for this position will have exceptional people, communication administrative and organisational skills.
Job responsibilities include:
Execution of marketing campaigns
• Sourcing and execution of in-book promotions - competitions, subscriptions, giveaways
• Execute online promotions - competitions, subscriptions, giveaways
Administration
• Ensure all contracts / agreements for competitions, subscriptions, giveaways for print and online are in place and kept up to date.
Ensuring that deadlines are met
• Ensuring sign-offs are obtained on time to meet deadlines for competitions, subscriptions, giveaways for print and online.
• Liaising with internal and external clients to meet deadlines. Liaising with internal and external clients for approval of material.
Liaising with clients and service providers
• Build and maintains relationships with internal and external clients and suppliers
Planning and executing events and workshops

Updating websites
• Co-ordinated, and put together information and co-ordination of banner placement to be updated on publishing houses website and partnering websites with every issue.
Requirements
Matric and relevant marketing degree or diploma
Knowledge of magazine and events advantageous•
Prepared to work weekends when necessary

• Excellent writing skills
• Must be able to edit and proof read
• Creative and versatile
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Organised and methodical
• An ability to work in a team with good communication skills
