Job Description
To support our operations in the area of materials and service procurement through third party
service contractors, processing requisitions from clients, preparation of procurement plans,
selecting suppliers and conducting bids, negotiating and placing orders, managing supplier
relations.
GRADUATE POSITION: Ref. PSA/001/06
Education, Experience and Skills:
! Candidates must have a first degree with a minimum Second Class Upper Division obtained not
earlier than 2001 in Social Sciences, Business disciplines, Accounting & Finance,
Engineering, Applied Sciences or Law plus at least 1 year experience.
! An additional qualification, preferably an MBA, ACA, ANA etc will be an advantage.
! Must possess NYSC discharge or Exemption certificate
EXPERIENCED POSITION: Ref. PSA/002/06
Education, Experience and Skills:
! Candidates must have first degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division in Social
Sciences, Business disciplines, Accounting & Finance, Engineering or Law with 5-10
years COGNATE experience in Procurement related services in the Oil and Gas industry. An
additional qualification, preferably an MBA will be an advantage.
! Candidates must be ready to work at any MPN location (Lagos, Ibeno, Port Harcourt etc).
! The following skills are a MUST for this position:
- Analytical, interpersonal, integrity and concern for excellence
- "Total System Cost" - economic analysis and application
- Strategic supply chain analysis and methodologies
- Procurement skills
- Customer relations and bargaining skills

TRAINEE GEOSCIENTISTS Ref.: GEO/001/06
General Requirements: All candidates MUST meet the following specifications:
! Educational Qualification: MSc degree in Geoscience (Geology or Geophysics or
Engineering Geology) plus first degree with a minimum Second Class Upper.
! Must possess NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
Other requirements include:
! Good understanding of Geoscience concepts
! No prior experience is required but relevant industry with workstation experience could be an
advantage.
In addition to general requirements above, successful candidates must have clear understanding of
basic Geoscience concepts and principles as well as be self-motivated with ability to make effective
individual contributions within a functional team. No previous experience required, but ability to
learn and integrate quickly is an advantage.
The successful candidates will undergo a 2-3 years training program in various Geoscience skill
areas. The training will be on the job and will prepare the individuals for assignments in any
designated aspect of Petroleum exploration and production anywhere in Nigeria.
